Frequently Asked Questions

What type of helmet should my child bring?
A properly fitted helmet is required. A bike, ski, skate, etc. will be fine as long as it fits properly.

What type of footwear should my child bring?
Rubber boots are definitely needed for spring break, but for summer weeks only if it's going to rain. Campers are required to wear close-toed shoes (preferably with a heel) while riding.

What kind of dance outfit should my child bring?
Dance outfits can range from t-shirt and shorts to dresses depending on what your child feels comfortable in. Our music ranges from country to Top 40.

How do I make a reservation?
Simply print the Reservation Form from the website and fill in all the fields. (Don't forget medical number!) Mail this in with either the deposit or the full amount. Please note, we cannot hold spots over the phone.

What methods of payment are accepted?
Cheque or cash. Full amount is due 2 weeks before your child's arrival. However, if you "forget", please pay cash on check-in day. We do not take any credit or interac cards.

How much should I leave my child for canteen?
Our candy store is opened every day in the afternoon -- it has all sorts of goodies as well as some healthy options. On check-in day, you will hand in money for your child and it will be divided evenly for the week. Most children bring $20-$30 per week. Prices rance from 5 cents to $1.25. There is a wide variety of choices from pop and juice, chips, chocolate bars, gummy candies, lollipops, and glowsticks for the dance.

Can my child be in a dorm with his/her friend?
The children are assigned to a dorm according to age. If they have a friend close to the same age, they can sleep in the same dorm. However, we don't normally put 6 year olds in with 14 year olds, so if you would like them to be together, the 14 year old will have to sleep with the younger dorm. We have at least 2 staff members in each dorm.

Can I bring our dog on check-in/check-out?
Yes, but please ensure that your dog is ON LEASH at ALL TIMES. We have two dogs who live at the camp who are very friendly. Also, please pick up after your dog's "business" as kids run around on the grass.
